Exploring how organisations create focus, coherence and sustained performance.

I'm passionate about how organizations drive exceptional outcomes
I’ve never set out to become a “strategy expert”. I’ve spent my career trying to solve difficult business problems.
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across strategy, digital transformation, operations, customer experience, marketing and executive leadership. Along the way I’ve led global transformation programs, built digital businesses, redesigned operating models, turned around underperforming teams and helped organisations navigate periods of significant change.
What I’ve found is that the organisations that consistently outperform aren’t necessarily the ones with the smartest people, the biggest budgets or the best strategy documents. They’re the ones that make better decisions, focus on what matters most and align their resources around a small number of priorities.
Why OutcomesLab exists
OutcomesLab brings together research, executive experience, interviews, case studies and practical experimentation to develop a more coherent understanding of organisational performance.
At the centre of that work is the Theory of Strategic Coherence—an evolving framework exploring how strategy, leadership, organisational design, resource allocation and execution interact to create sustained advantage.
Experience
Marcus has worked across law, financial services, telecommunications, technology and manufacturing, holding executive leadership roles spanning customer strategy, digital transformation, commercial leadership and enterprise strategy.
Outside his executive career, he has served on not-for-profit boards, advised growing organisations and mentored emerging leaders.
